These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Flocus mobile application ("App") provided by MFX Studios, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), a Texas partnership. By downloading, installing, or using Flocus, you agree to these Terms.
Flocus is a speed reading application that displays text one word at a time using RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation). You may use Flocus for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
Flocus allows you to import content from PDFs, web URLs, and the clipboard. You are solely responsible for the content you import. You represent that you have the right to access and use any content you import into Flocus for personal reading purposes. All imported content is stored locally on your device.
Flocus offers the following in-app purchases:
Payment: All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription Renewal: Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings or through Settings > Support > Manage Subscription in the App.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
Flocus provides a free tier that includes clipboard and web URL importing, RSVP up to 450 WPM, up to 3 saved items in the library, and basic themes. The free tier is subject to change.
AI features in Flocus are powered by Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework. These features require compatible hardware (iPhone 15 Pro or newer) and iOS 26.0 or later with Apple Intelligence enabled. AI feature availability and quality may vary. AI-generated summaries and analyses are provided for convenience and may not be fully accurate.
The Flocus Safari Extension requires user activation in iOS Settings. The extension operates within Apple's Safari Web Extension framework and follows Apple's security and privacy guidelines. The extension requests access to web page content only when you explicitly activate it.
Flocus, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by MFX Studios, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "Flocus" and the Flocus logo are trademarks of MFX Studios, LLC.
Flocus is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MFX Studios, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Flocus shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Flocus after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, all locally stored data remains on your device.
